I like your tradition of two minutes of silence to honor veterans. As a Vietnam vet I watched our country send off its men to fight and then treat the returning soldiers with contempt. I hope yours w

I am very happy that you are coming to our school in Lincoln on the 25th. I don't know if it is possible or not but I would love for you to sing the song that Joan Chipman co-wrote with you. My dad is her brother and I would love to video tape you singing that song. My dad is a retired (84 year old) army vet and we are military as well. My daughter is married to a military member as we'll so your songs have such a strong impact on us.
Thank you so much.

Dear Terry,
Thank you for coming to our school today and helping us learn some important things. We learned about courage, respect, making dreams come true, practicing, and that it is important to be safe. We will work to be young heroes. You are a hero to us! Our favourite songs were the unicorn song and “A Pittance of Time.” We listened to this song around Remembrance Day and it was so nice to sing along with you today. This song helped us learn about being respectful and that we have power to help others.
Love,
Mrs. McAllister’s Grade 2 Class at GNMES
