Hi there!! I am sitting here with my big bro. He was in Afghanistan feb-aug 2007. We listen to "Pittance of Time" whenever we are around. Very emotional !! You played while he was serving in Afghanistan and will never forget it. He has said how ultimately fantastic it would be to say to you face to face how much that impacted him. My littlle bro went overseas right afterward so it's soooooo dear to us. Thank you, from Jamie Lee Higgins, NS

I just wanted to again thank Terry and Tony for coming to our school today. Terry - you incorporated our school's teachings beautifully into your programme. As teachers, we were all impressed by how engaged you kept the students during the show. I can't wait to talk to them Monday morning and get their reactions. We will absolutely be working on abolishing the words "I can't" from our vocabulary! So again, thank you. It was so nice to hear you sing in person again after so many years.

Every Nov. 11th. I listen to your song "Pittance of Time" and share it with friends who have never heard it before. It always brings tears to my eyes but helps me to remember how fortunate I am to live in this country and to have so many blessings in my life. Thank you Terry.

Every year, I look for your video "A Pittance of Time". Thank you for writing it. It's raw, compelling message always touches my heart. This year, with the events of the past week (and year), it strikes a parallel with our lives. The hatred spouted during the Canadian and American elections has brought out the worst in our worlds. On Monday, I had started to think that I have to reach past my own anger at many situations and start to quell my own negativity. (I quickly had to rise to the challenge when I heard the election results.) The ripple has to come from within each of us. I think there is a movement slowly building in that direction. Maybe there's a song in it for you.

It's remembrance day, 2016 and once again, I listen to your "A Pittance of Time". I do this every Remembrance Day. I also got the school at which I used to work to play it at their Remembrance Day services. I just wanted to say "Thank you" for the most heartfelt song in dedication to those who fought and are still fighting.

Hello Terry. I am a fellow Newfoundlander from Mount Pearl and have heard much of your music over the years. Today I attended a Remembrance Day service at Captain R Wilson Public School, my grade 8 daughter's school. At the end of the service the music teacher shared your music video and song "A Pittance of Time". This was the first time I've had the honour to hear this song. I felt compelled to share with you that I, as well as many others, were very moved by your words and music. Thank you for reminding others of the importance of remembering those who fought for our most precious gift of freedom. ( Wanda Vallis, Registered Nurse, Oakville, ON

Pittance of time This video really needs to be shared more. Especially today. I have asked my friends to share it. I saw it the first time today. We lost our father this year on St Patrick's day. Dad served 33 years with Canadian Military. I asked him one time why he never wore his medals. He told me he wasn't a hero, didn't serve in a war. And even though we didnt always see eye to eye and were at odds I swayed him to my side. I told him dad you are a hero. You served Canada for 33 years. You were ready when others wouldn't . You never complained about going on exercises, serving at the Olympics, doing searches and the many other things you did. Dad raised 9 children through the 1950's. to the 1980's. He did the best he could with what he had. So dad you are a hero! In his memory Ted Hamilton 1933 to 2016

Thank-you Terry for your inspirational song "Pittance of Time." We used the music video for this song today during our service of remembrance. I had tears in my eyes and so did many others listening to this most beautiful and meaningful song. Thank-you for sharing it on the internet and being such an amazing human being and wonderful song writer. Sincerely, Len Mac Lellan (Grade 5 teacher for the last 20 years at St. Stephen's Catholic school.)

I just wanted to let you know how much I love your song A Pittance of Time. I first heard it in Canada, where I grew up. I am now a teacher living in England and I continue to enjoy sharing your powerful music video with my students. In fact, I used it in our Remembrance Day Assembly today! It gives me goosebumps every year when I revisit it. Today we discussed the choice you made not to act on impulse in the moment, but to turn a negative experience into a teaching moment & what a much more positive, wide-reaching (all the way from Canada!) & timeless impact you have had on people everywhere by turning this moment into art. Thank you for this gift. It is a wonderful way to teach children the meaning of a moment of silence. I wish you could have seen their enthralled faces today. You truly have a gift. Thank you.

A sincere note to say how much your video A Pittance of Time has affected myself and so many others. For many years I annually send the link to my email contacts. I also post it on Facebook now. It is wonderful and heartwarming when so many of my former High School students say thank you Mr. C. for reminding us and they also share it. A wonderful background story also and I commend you for doing it.
Even after all these years I get a chill from watching it in awe. Thank you very much.
